 THE CONTRADICTIONS

One of the most deep-rooted contradictions of the human being revolves around the desire to be free, because the conscience becomes so trapped in the countless conditions that prevent or severely limit freedom, that the freedom so longed for becomes an eternal struggle against what appears to be an obstacle for her.

What kind of contradictory freedom would that be? Why is freedom not sought through a persistent construction toward what it truly means?

Probably because we don't know what freedom is, we only know how to be trapped in what would supposedly prevent it.

And according to the rules of dialectics, by focusing so much on what we are fighting, we end up transforming ourselves into the demons that oppress us and, thus, we inadvertently oppress others too, because even if we fill our mouths with the word freedom, it is very difficult for us to grant it. On the contrary, we limit the freedom of the people we interact with.

So, what's the point of protesting against the oppression of governments and the complex web of social relationships, if by not acting with determination to overcome fear, greed and heightened sexuality, these conditions lead us to also be oppressors and limiters of other people's freedom?

If these statements move you without, however, knowing whether you understood correctly what was said, it is because they are true.

Now is a good time to be silent and contemplate the progress of your life without trying to intervene in anything, forcing events to follow your will. Navigate life without forcing yourself to do anything.
