“I don’t seek, I attract”
I've heard it said with a mouth full of pride: “I don't seek, I attract”, meaning that there may be an alternative to this life of effort and dedication to reap the practical results we want, replacing it with a condition in which, by the strength of our imagination the Universe would conspire to give us everything we need and desire, as if this colossal and intelligent organism were a providing parent.
Frankly, it's a lot of pretension and little reflection to imagine that we are kings and queens of reality, and that reality must serve us to satisfy all our whims, even if these are unsustainable and that, due to lack of common sense, it doesn't even occur to us that , perhaps, our whims do not bring any benefit to the world.
Would anyone apply to work on behalf of a better world?
Logic does not understand the entire Universe, because there are many things working in a completely different way than logic would determine. Call it mystery or luck, these are things that exist.
