Antônio Delfim Netto

Economist (academic and politician) Antônio Delfim Netto died in São Paulo on August 12, 2024, at the age of 96. I like to analyze the lives of long-lived people, because we can usually draw important conclusions for a healthier life. Delfim was, and always has been, fat. As a general rule, fat people live short lives. Delfim was an exception to this rule. He certainly compensated for this deficiency with some lifestyle habits that contributed to his health. Another relevant fact is that Delfim Netto died with a lot of hair on his head, he never went bald, and he never got married.

When they are born, boys and girls have a lot of hair on their heads. Girls, as a general rule, keep their hair until death and never go bald. Boys, on the other hand, often start to have hair problems from adolescence onwards, losing hair and going bald. Since God did not favor women in the hair sector, in relation to men, there are some male habits that are harmful to health that are not shared by women. Another relevant fact is that women, in all countries of the world, without exception, live, on average, longer than men (there are many more widows than widowers in the world). Therefore, what are the healthy female habits that make them live longer than men, without going bald?

In my opinion, there are two main factors that make women live longer than men, and they also make men live longer if they imitate women in these aspects. First point: in all countries of the world, without exception, women have, on average, longer hair than men. How does this contribute to greater longevity? The Bible gives a clue: Samson lost his strength when Delilah cut his long hair, which had never been cut since he was born. Jesus also had long hair. The scientific explanation is as follows: hair is a filamentary electromagnetic antenna whose efficiency in capturing environmental energy increases with the greater the length of the hair. Therefore, ideally, keeping all other variables the same (diet, exercise, lifestyle habits), those who keep longer hair will live longer.

But Delfim Netto never had long hair, he always had it short! This is where the second fundamental factor for longevity comes in: sex. Men go bald because they practice sex differently from women: men are active and women are passive. More specifically: men, in their activity, tend to ejaculate semen outside of themselves (a huge waste of energy), which does not happen with women. This is why men go bald and women do not. I have information, from a reliable source, that Delfim Netto was a passive homosexual. Men should not avoid sex, they should just avoid ejaculating during sexual intercourse.

The Mad Cow

A few years ago, a deadly disease emerged in cattle herds, which was called "mad cow disease". A rigorous investigation was carried out and the cause of the disease was discovered: the cow (and ox), a vegetarian animal, was being fed carnivorous food, which caused this deadly disease. We have currently noticed that human society is also quite crazy, suffering from "mad man's disease", characterized by two particularities: body height below two meters and age at death below one hundred years. A simple investigation identifies the reason for this disease: according to the Bible [1], God created man as a vegetarian being (more particularly, frugivorous, fruit eater), with a height well over two meters (giants, when compared to the current height) and living close to a thousand years. This continued until the time of the Great Flood, at the time of Noah, when the human race began to eat the flesh of animals, disobeying their divine nature. As a result, human height and longevity fell enormously, creating today's "mad man's disease."

Can Coffee Really Help You Live Longer? New Studies Say THIS

 Source: https://thealternativedaily.com/can-coffee-really-help-live-longer-new-studies-say/?utm_source=internal&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=AD240303

There used to be a time when you could enjoy your coffee guilt-free. Breathe in the heady aromas, savor that first (hopefully not-too-hot) sip, and prepare yourself for the day ahead. That shot of caffeine goodness was a daily ritual that switched you from a creature of the night to a high-flying sunshine sensation.

But then nutritionists, doctors and health advocates started to say otherwise. That morning cup of Joe is doing you damage, they’d have you believe, and anyone who values their health would do well to ditch the stuff altogether.

Either you heeded their warnings and swore off your morning cup of coffee, or you stubbornly continued to knock it back in the face of popular opinion. Both scenarios essentially had your morning in ruins, with the first ensuring you stumbled through your day in a zombie-like fashion, and the second souring the taste of that heady brew with a strong dose of guilt.

But two mammoth studies conducted in the United States and Europe may bring the coffee Dark Age to an end. The combined studies, which tracked close to three-quarters of a million participants over the average course of 16 years, may just have coffee’s doomsayers quaking in their boots.

This just in: coffee is good for you!

Two studies have found that coffee may help you live longer.

Simultaneously published on August 15 of this year, the studies show that it’s high time we rethink the negative way in which we view coffee. Here’s a brief look at the findings from each.

Study #1: Europe

Funded by the European Commission Directorate-General for Health and Consumers and the International Agency for Research on Cancer, this study encompassed 521,330 participants across 10 European countries. Over the course of close to 16 years, scientists tracked the coffee drinking habits of the participants and compared them to common health markers.

The results were significant. According to the study, “participants in the highest quartile of coffee consumption had statistically significantly lower all-cause mortality” than those people who didn’t drink coffee at all. The findings also showed that both men and women who drank coffee were at a lower risk of digestive disease, while female coffee drinkers also had a lower risk of both circulatory disease and cerebrovascular disease.

Study #2: United States

Back home, the National Cancer Institute funded a sister study that encompassed 185,855 participants from five different ethnic backgrounds tracked over the course of 19 years. The findings virtually mirrored those from the European study: “compared with drinking no coffee, coffee consumption was associated with lower total mortality.”

Across all the ethnic groups, coffee drinkers had a lower risk of heart disease, cancer, respiratory disease, stroke, diabetes and kidney disease. Interestingly, this coffee equals health correlation seems to apply even with four or more cups of coffee consumed per day, regardless of whether the coffee is caffeinated or decaf.

The general consensus?

Coffee makes you live longer! Well, it decreases your risk of dying earlier, which is essentially the same thing. Bottoms up, folks!

Not all coffee is created equal

The higher quality of coffee, the more impressive the health benefits.

The beauty of these two studies is the sheer number of people that participated, minimizing statistical error and proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that coffee is definitely a good thing. What’s more, they were funded by impartial organizations that presumably don’t have a vested interest in coffee consumption, thereby ensuring the results haven’t been tampered with in any way.

Nonetheless, it’s important to remember that not all coffee is created equal. In fact, I’m convinced that if the study proponents had somehow been able to differentiate further between “high quality” coffee and “low quality” coffee, the results would have been even more significant. Because an organically grown, minimally processed, expertly brewed cup of coffee can be so much more than a cup of instant coffee.

Here are just a few reasons why coffee is so darn good for you:

And it’s fair to say that the higher the quality of coffee, the more impressive these health benefits will be. To get the most from my organic coffee, I buy unground coffee beans and grind them myself on the day, then either drink it with a healthy dose or grass-fed full-fat milk or a healthy dollop of butter… the fat ensures your body can absorb all those fat-soluble vitamins in the coffee! And instead of sugar or sweetener, I’ll add in half a teaspoon or so of organic cinnamon, which creates the impression of sweetness but without the blood sugar spikes. Delish!

Free Health

Good health leads to longevity and a good quality of life. The Brazilian longevity champions, Maria Olívia da Silva (130 years old) and Maria do Carmo Gerônimo (129 years old) were rich in health and poor in money.

1. United Nations (UN) statistics show that in all nations of the world, without exception, women live, on average, longer than men. There are therefore many more widows than widowers in all countries. Why? The human body is sustained by energy. During the 24 hours of the day, women capture more energy than men, even when both are in the same environment. Why? I taught the discipline of Electromagnetic Antennas at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). One of the analyzed antennas was the filamentary antenna. A characteristic of this antenna is that the greater its length, the greater its efficiency in capturing electromagnetic energy from the environment. A practical example: in the old days, cars had telescopic antennas (of adjustable length) and to have a good signal (energy) reception in the car radio, the antenna had to be adjusted to have its maximum length. Our hair and beards are filamentary antennas: the longer they are, the more they capture electromagnetic energy from the environment. Since, in all countries of the world, women have longer hair than men, they are more energized during all day. Therefore, since women are better connected with the environment (with God), they have better health and intuition. Remember the biblical story of Samson and Delilah. My maternal grandmother never cut her hair: she lived 100 years. If you stop cutting your beard and hair, you will have zero expenses with a barber and hairdresser.

2. Jesus: “Life comes only from life, and from death comes only death. I like to read this phrase of Jesus as follows: “Life and health come only from living things, and from dead things come only disease and death”. You are only alive right now because a living thing (your father) had contact with another living thing (your mother) without using a condom or pill (a dead thing). A living tree can only grow and be supported by something living, the earth's soil. The contact of a body with the ground is called grounding. All beings in the plant world and the animal world remain grounded throughout the day, with the exception of the hominal world. We isolate ourselves from Mother Earth when we wear shoes and when we sleep on top of a bed. Our body is an electrical (actually electromagnetic) machine that works by moving electrical charges within it. When we ground ourselves, the electrical charges in our body balance with the electrical charges present in the ground, generating a healthy condition. The Brazilian longevity champion, Maria do Carmo Gerônimo (129 years old), never wore shoes, she always walked barefoot. According to the UN, Japan is the country with the longest-lived population, because of the Japanese tradition of walking barefoot indoors. I have an aunt with a leg problem called erysipelas: after three days of walking barefoot on the beach, her symptoms disappear. During the day you might be grounded by going barefoot, and at night you might be grounded by sleeping on the floor next to your bed. You may have already noticed that practically 100% of the people on this planet die lying on a bed. Another way to ground yourself while you sleep is to use a conductive wire connecting the soles of your feet to a metal bar stuck in the ground in your backyard (similar to the apparatus used to make an electrocardiogram, ECG). When you are grounded, you protect yourself from the electromagnetic pollution present in the environment by sending this harmful energy into the ground. You will be functioning as a lightning rod. If you go barefoot, you'll zero out on your shoe expenses. See this: https://t.me/tartariabrazil/17388 (blood and grounding)

3. The Sun is responsible for plant, animal and human life on this planet. Without the sun there would be no life on Earth's surface. Sun is energy and life! The less solar radiation we receive, the sicker and weaker we are. Therefore, expose as much of your skin to the sun's rays for as long as possible to cure or prevent disease. Our bodies were designed to live in sunny environments near the equator. In Brazil, the states with the lowest mortality rate are Acre and Rio Grande do Norte, both close to the equator. The race with the shortest longevity on the planet are the Eskimos, who live in a cold environment, close to the North Pole. There are numerous therapies that are based on the sun: heliotherapy, ultraviolet (UV) therapy, light medicine, etc. You pay nothing to expose yourself to the sun, doing solar therapy. Get started today!

4. Our God-made body has arms and legs that must be moved regularly. One way to do this is to walk to school or work. If the distance is too long, buy a bike and ride. This way you won't chemically pollute the atmosphere with your car, you won't need to go to the gym to exercise, you'll get a vitalizing sun and you'll reduce to zero your expenses with transportation during the week. Another good way to exercise is to practice swimming; be embraced by the Angel of Water, as Jesus said. People who swim regularly have better health and live longer.

5. We live in a fully electrified society. This generates great electromagnetic pollution in the air that surrounds us. Our physical body is also an electrical mechanism, moving electrical charges within it through innate electrical fields. Interference between external electromagnetic pollution and the natural electromagnetic fields within our body can lead to the emergence of many health problems. How to reduce this problem? I have two suggestions.

First: Walk barefoot at home (and at work/school if you spend most of your time sitting behind a table/desk). In this way, you will be behaving like a lightning rod system, diverting all the electromagnetic pollution that hits you towards the ground. The Brazilian longevity champion, Maria do Carmo Gerônimo (129 years old), has always walked barefoot. Japan is the champion country of longevity because of the tradition of everyone going barefoot indoors. I took some measurements and found that wearing socks does not greatly affect grounding through the soles of the feet.

Second: When you go to sleep, turn off your cell phone and go to your home's electricity panel and turn off the main switch to zero your home's electricity consumption while you sleep. You will have a more peaceful and restful sleep. If you want to keep your refrigerator running while you sleep, proceed as follows: keep the main circuit breaker on and turn off all other circuit breakers, with the exception of the circuit breaker that feeds the refrigerator. This scheme can be used when you leave home to work/study and no one stays at home. Proceeding in this way, you will have a substantial reduction in the expenses with the monthly light bill and you will be making a personal contribution to reduce the electromagnetic pollution of your region. In addition to contributing to improving your health, you will also be happier, with a much cheaper electricity bill.

In another post on this blog, I will comment on the case of Bhutan, a small country in Asia, in an aspect related to this topic.

6. The human physical body, being a divine construction, has the ability to self-regenerate itself, if given the proper condition. The necessary condition for this is called fasting. Why? Because, when there is no food in the stomach, all the body's energy is directed towards organic cleansing, with a view to restoring ideal, perfect health. Watch the animals: when they are in poor health, they stop eating, that is, they fast. You also fast every day when you go to sleep at night. Typically, you go to bed tired, fast for many hours and wake up refreshed. Interesting what happens in English language: the word for fasting (fast) also means "quick", which suggests that the fastest way to regain health is through fasting. In many languages, the first meal of the day refers to the overnight fasting: desjejum (Portuguese), desayuno (Spanish), breakfast (English), etc. By practicing fasting, you zero out (or, at least, reduce) your food expenses. For starters, you can extend your overnight fasting period by skipping the morning meal.

Old castles in Europe do not have bathrooms with toilets (Please, I ask my European readers to confirm this in the Comments). Why? Because their residents (usually giants) did not urinate and defecate. Why? Because they fed only on air, that is, they were breatharians. In Brazil, we would say that they "lived on the breeze". Air is our main food, we cannot go more than five minutes without it. The saying goes: eat little and live long. They say: eat or die. Wrong: Don't eat and live.

7. To achieve perfect health, Jesus recommends that we be embraced daily by four living angels of the Earthly Mother: Angel of Air, Angel of Water, Angel of Solar Light and Angel of Earth.

Jesus also taught two prayers:  Our Father (which everyone knows) and Our Mother (which few know). Here is Our Mother:

Our Mother which art upon earth, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, and thy will be done in us, as it is in thee. As thou sendest every day thy angels, send them to us also. Forgive us our sins, as we atone all our sins against thee. And lead us not into sickness, but deliver us from all evil, for thine is the earth, the body, and the health. Amen

By following the above recommendations, we will be rich in health and money, and we will be immortal...

Eat Less and Live Longer

The Ultimate Longevity Secrets Discovered at Last?

According to this fascinating video segment aired recently on Nova, only one in 10,000 of us will live to see 100. But scientists are working on finding ways to increase that number.

Researchers found cutting the food intake of just about any organism by up to 30-40 percent extended its life by as much as 60 percent.

Calorie restriction reduces insulin levels and triggers the production of sirtuins, which are produced as part of an intricate stress response that kicks an organism into survival mode (which beefs up DNA repair and prevents cells from dying).

Another variable that triggered the production of sirtuins and the longer lives of flies, worms and likely mice was increasing their intake of the antioxidant resveratrol.

Nova Science Now January 9, 2007

Dr. Mercola's Comment:

When I first read of one of the primary active ingredients in grape seeds and skins, resveratrol, I was very excited. However, the research on it can be a bit confusing, which is why I was so delighted to find this excellent video that breaks the research down into simple language.

If you have any interest in extending your lifespan you will want to watch this video that reviews one of the major Harvard researchers performing much of the pioneering work in the field.

Calorie restriction, if you limit your foods to those that will not raise your insulin levels, will also tend to increase your lifespan. That means lowering grains and sugars, the foundation of my Total Health Program.

However, while effective, this is not at all a very satisfying way to live your life, in constant deprivation. Most would never tolerate this.

However, resveratrol can provide nearly identical benefits without the pain by activating the same genes as calorie restriction. You can obtain reservatrol from natural sources such as whole grape skins and seeds.

Resveratrol is also found in raspberries, mulberries and peanuts, and is known to have a number of beneficial health effects, including fighting cancer. It belongs to a family of compounds known as polyphenols, which are known to combat damaging free radicals in the body.

Although reservatrol is in grapes you wlll still want to stay away from red wine as your primary source for resveratrol. Not only does the alcohol contained in red wine have the potential to disrupt your delicate hormonal balance, it is a neurotoxin that can poison your brain.

On Vital Votes, Russ from Soquel, California offers up some anecdotal evidence:

"I have a grandmother who is 97, soon to be 98, and very likely to reach 100 (or well beyond) and in perfect mental health, with her only complaint physically being a sore knee.

"Curiously, but not surprisingly, in relation to this article's suggestions, her entire life has indeed been one of no consumption of tobacco products, no alcoholic beverages, and a restricted calorie intake, of 1,500 calories or less per day, of simple and unprocessed food sources, low, or void, in any refined or processed sweeteners.

"She also has a remarkable ability to adjust to any stress, with a very positive outlook, as she has clearly out lived all her contemporary relatives and friends, and adjusted well to everyone being much younger that her."
