We Are All Neurotics
When we perceive what we perceive, it is impossible to go back and feign previous ignorance, but human creativity does not know the limits of impossibility, and with the use of indisputable intellectual and emotional resources we manage to repress perception and keep it locked in the labyrinths of the unconscious. in the form of a neurosis, very normal and acceptable because, after all, who could declare themselves free from all neuroses? Nobody, we're all neurotics.
Paradoxically, the neurosis that we experience as suffering is also the confession of our psychic power to create and sustain a pretense, until, one day, we get tired of repeating lies to ourselves and our relationships. Then and only then do we reclaim our intellectual and emotional resources and reorient them toward a more honest life.
