 THE REASON

Everyone is right, no one is right, people are losing their reason, it is difficult to understand the reason for everything that happens, the reasons that explain what happens are discordant and paradoxical, when it seems that we understand the reason, then other things happen who deny it; So complex is the scenario of global reality that we have to try to understand, because the exercise of seeking and finding, even if only temporarily, meaning and significance in everything is inherent to consciousness.

We sense that there is order behind the apparent chaos and we look for reasons for this order to emerge and serve as a lifeline to prevent the shipwreck of our principles.

However, if the reasons we find are particular and exclusive, linking us, at most, to a group of people while considering that the vast majority of the world is wrong, then it is entirely likely that we have lost reason instead of finding it, because if the reasons are selfish, dogmatic and self-centered, it will happen that we consider it insufficient to have reason on our side. We also want reason to be granted to us in discussions and for other people to give up their reasons for this.

So far, everything is more or less fine (and I emphasize the “more or less”), but it also happens that we are rarely inclined to give up our reasons to grant them to others and, in this way, there is no dialogue nor the enrichment that the exchange of ideas would produce.

And all of us, despite being rational and boasting about it, thus we lose reason, because either reason unites us and motivates convergence towards a general understanding of everything, or it does not deserve to be called reason.

After all, there is nothing more irrational than claiming to be right.

Everything is much more complex than you had imagined, and for a few moments the soul feels that it will not be able to cope, that the gains will not compensate for the inconvenience that presents itself. Keep moving forward, the doubts will disappear.
