 THE OPPRESSORS ON DUTY

Reason is just one among all the instruments of perception and intervention available for human consciousness to use and, therefore, it is asking too much of reason to try to be the philosopher's stone on which to enunciate the general theory about everything and everyone.

The most valuable aspect of reason is discernment, the ability to separate the wheat from the chaff, the false from the real, and although this movement is worthy and within the reach of all people, it is necessary to believe in reason for it to give us its magnificent results, which is a true paradox, since if reason came to save us from the passionality of beliefs, how come we have to believe in it to use it?

Yes we do! Because reason sticks to facts verifiable by the physical organs of the senses, while it treats subjective perception as an experience that does not qualify and that, therefore, must be treated as inferior, negligible.

Stating this is only possible through a belief, because if we were to use reason, we would discover that it is irrational to determine that human perception must be mutilated in order to have access to reality.

This is not about diminishing the value of reason, but about preventing rationalists from becoming the oppressors on duty. Just that.

You don't need to follow all the guidance that people offer, because many of them are based on the fear they feel about life, and which contradict your need to launch yourselve into life's adventure.
