TWO REASONS TO AVOID MEANNESS
It doesn't matter if you are a rich person, if you are poor, or if you exist in the form of a middle class accommodated between the hope of wealth and the fear of poverty; In any case, it is certain that, regardless of your financial condition, you should never allow avarice, pettiness and excessive greed to take root in your heart, and this for two reasons, one personal and the other social.
The personal reason is in the name of your mental and physical health, because, you see, pettiness dries out the heart and dehydrates the potential beauty of all the ideas that circulate through your mind, converting them into meaningless arguments, and because if you settle into this void, you will also inevitably produce your misery, if you continue following this path, even if unintentionally, inadvertently, just by not paying attention. (Fate has a bad habit of working despite us not knowing how it works)
And the social reason that leads me to advise you to avoid avarice and pettiness, not just material, but mainly spiritual, is that excessive greed and avarice practiced to the detriment of collective well-being is the trigger for destructive revolts that are cooked in the viscera of our humanity. (Perhaps, paradoxically, this evident reason leads you to accentuate pettiness, because the desire to blow up the world has taken over your heart, but in light of this I can only say to you: may the Divinity forgive, because our humanity does not know what it is doing).
