For thousands of years humans have been trying to cure illnesses afflicting body and mind. Endless types and strands of disorders seem to be ever changing and constantly mutating into more complex forms. We try hard to study and understand them with a scientific methodology, but we often have hard time making progress because our scientific models fail to describe much detail of how the human body works. While the science of health is making great steps forward, there is still a lot of guess work involved in applied medicine that often is more like a form of art based on the experience and gut feelings of the doctors, than a science with clear rules.

When we study illness, we notice the symptoms and we explore them; this research gives us clues on how to fix the symptoms, and often we discover possible causes and we attempt to attack these as well. This approach is similar to the approach we take when a car breaks, except that it is much more difficult given how complex the physical body is. It often works, but often doesn’t fix the cause, and the illness comes back to hunt us again. Many times things just resolve themselves and we have no idea what the problem was, and why it is gone.

I remember when I was a teenager I started having troubles breathing at night. I was a young and healthy, much into all kinds of sports and always active. Nevertheless, this night breathing problem was bothering me a great deal. I went to my doctor. He asked me if I had that problem only at night, which I did. He also asked me if I had that problem while in vacation somewhere else, or if I had any known allergies. I answered “no” to both questions. In fact, I could sleep just fine while in vacation, and I had no known allergies. He asked me if I spent much time in my room, which I did. That’s all he needed to hear. His prescription was “Change your room around! Move the furniture, take whatever is on the walls and change it with something new, paint the room with a different color. In short, make it feel new”. I thought it was an odd cure for my problem, but he is a very experienced doctor and I trusted him. Well, believe it or not, that “cure” fixed my problem, which never came back again. Later he explained that I had problems breathing because I was associating my room with something bad that happened in my life, putting me in a negative state of mind and stress. Changing the room around was a way to deactivate these negative memories.

He didn’t really understand all the details of why that negative state of mind was causing the problems with the breathing; he just knew that it worked that way.

What is the real cause of illness? Most important, why is the body sometimes unable to fix itself?

We know that parts of the body completely regenerate themselves every day, some parts every few weeks, others every few month and a handful every couple of years. In other words, today you have a completely different body that you had a couple of years ago. It completely regenerated itself.

The body is able to regenerate because it has a complete description of itself stored in the DNA, which is spread across all of its parts. If that description is there, and if the body can regenerate so well, why is it often not able to fight illnesses? It seems like the diseased areas should just be discarded and regenerated. Also, if your have a completely new body every few years, why do we carry physical conditions sometimes for a lifetime?

The reason is that the source of all illnesses is not inside the body, and is not in some external agent. All of these supposed causes are really just the symptoms of the real issue. The source of illness is in the mind. The Law of Attraction teaches us that your thoughts create your reality, including all illnesses.

To be more specific, what causes illness is stress. When I say “stress” don’t imagine a busy day, or an exhausting run to catch a bus. That’s not stress, but just a high level of activity; in fact, you can be very busy and tired and also in a positive mental status at the same time. So, what is stress? Stress is a temporary or a prolonged coexistence of active contrasting beliefs, activated by the current situation, and clashing one against the other.

Contrasting beliefs have the effect of pulling your sub-conscious in two or more directions. The result is stress and, as a consequence, the development of physical illness.

Contrasting beliefs become stress only when the current life situation makes them active concurrently. In these cases, the sub-conscious finds itself with two contrasting rules that is trying to apply at the same time, and it ends up not knowing what to do. It goes in a vicious loop that creates a negative and confusing conscious state of mind directed inward, into the body. The super-conscious takes note of this negative attention inwards and does what you are asking: it creates a negative and confusing reality inside your physical body. In other words, it generates illness.

I’ll tell you a fantasy story, as an example of how it works.

“John is a career oriented man, aiming to be successful in his profession. He strongly believes that once one reaches a certain career level, one need to work till late at night and during weekends in order to succeed. This directive was injected in his belief system by his father, who used to work really late every night; John’s father excuse was that he needed to work hard because he was at the peak of his career, and he had no choice. John is not at that career level yet, so this belief is buried deep and dormant in his sub-conscious.

John also believes that, to be healthy and productive at work, one need at least eight hours of sleep every night. This was something that his mother always told him before putting him to bed when he was a little kid. For his whole life John has been just fine sleeping eight hours every night. One day he gets the big promotion of his life, which pushes him up to a much higher position. He is now at the same career level of his dad, and all in a sudden the belief that he is required to work at night is activated by the new situation. This new active belief clashes with the one that says he needs to sleep at least eight hours every night. John’s sub-conscious falls into a vicious cycle that goes like something like this: “To be successful I need to work late every night. If I work late every night I won’t be able to sleep enough hours. If I don’t sleep enough hours I will not be productive and I won’t be able to be successful. But to be successful I need to work long hours. If I don’t do it, I’ll lose my job…”

This vicious cycle quickly builds up stress in John’s mind, who starts having negative and confusing thoughts directed inward. These thoughts create a dark shadow on his life. John’s sub-conscious starts stalling, unable to decide what to do. This confusion reaches the super-conscious, which starts moving the wheels toward a confusing and negative reality. The Law of Attraction always listens and always executes one’s commands, no matter what the commands are.The result is illness. John’s health starts degrading showing the early signs of stress. It starts with frequent colds, coughs and headaches. John treats the symptoms with aspirin, and keeps going. This degradation of health gives him even more negative thoughts.

“I am often sick” resonates in his mind, “I don’t want to be sick”.

Again, the law of attraction executes and manifests the subject of his focus: sickness. After a few years John starts having heart problems that culminate with a hearth attack.”

This story illustrates the effects of contrasting beliefs, if these beliefs are not released before things spiral out of control. Modern medicine goes back and forth on the idea that the mind has great power over the body. Many scientists and skeptics still have hard time accepting such a mind-centric explanation, but the evidence is pressing and even the blindest skeptics are starting to change their opinions.The shamans have known the power of the mind over the body for thousands of years. Without any sort of modern medication or deep knowledge of the body, they were able to cure many illnesses with visualizations and rituals aimed to create a positive state of mind, in the attempt to break the vicious cycle generating the illness. Albert Einstein once said “Imagination is more important than knowledge”, and the shamans knew this simple truth very well.

Don’t take me wrong. Even if the root cause of illness is in the mind and in the thoughts you have, it doesn’t mean that you should stop taking medicines or go to see a doctor when you are sick. Not at all! Also, while imagination is more important than knowledge, knowledge is also important. Medications and doctors are there to help you. They can cure the symptoms, help you with their experience and knowledge and save your life when you are too sick to be even conscious.

Even if you should always see a good doctor every time you need medical attention, it is possible to learn how to prevent and cure illness with positive thinking and visualization. This should be aimed to prevent the need to see a doctor in the first place, or help the doctor once you need one, more than function as a complete replacement.

There are many documented cases of people that healed their own bodies with the power of their mind and positive thinking, while doctors were keeping their bodies alive working on the physical symptoms of the illness.

One of these cases is Morris Goodman, which at age 35 crashed his plane. The doctors said that his injures were too severe for him to survive. They stated that he would be a vegetable for the rest of his life. He wasn’t able to move, breathe or swallow. He was connected to machines and the only physical movement he could do was to blink. During the months spent at the hospital he kept telling himself that he would be out of it “before Christmas”. He was completely consciously aware, and spent days and nights visualizing how it would feed to walk out the hospital with his own legs. Amazingly, that’s exactly what happened, just before Christmas.

The doctors dubbed him “The Miracle Man”, and never understood how what they witnessed was possible.

There are many other cases of people that, with the power of positive thinking and positive feelings, have eliminated tumors and other deadly physical conditions. Medicine is unable to explain it scientifically, but at the same time doctors and scientist accept it as a fact: “miracles” happen, and that’s a good thing for everybody.

Albert Einstein also said, “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle”. Either way you decide to live, you are right. You create your reality, so if you don’t expect miracles, miracles won’t happen. On the other hand, if you focus on miracles, miracles will happen.

Now that you know what the source of all illness is, how do you apply this knowledge to heal yourself or prevent illness? There are many techniques that you can master.

Stay In a Positive Mindset

First of all remember that you attract what you focus on. If you are focused on negative thoughts, you attract a negative reality. Try to smile and be cheerful. Watch funny movies and laugh a lot. Catch yourself when you start being negative, and switch to a more positive attitude. You can do so forcing a smile on your face, or thinking about something pleasant.

When something happens that irritates you, catch yourself and don’t let it happen. Monitor your thoughts and make sure you don’t have any internal “wars”.

Start a “gratitude” journal, where everyday you write what you are grateful for. This helps you feel positive and blessed. Remember that it is important to FEEL positive, lucky and cheerful, and not just merely think about positive thoughts.

Discover your contrasting beliefs.

When you feel suddenly negative, or sick, something is going on in your mind. There is probably a war in your sub-conscious with two or more beliefs contradicting each other. Pay attention to your body and your thoughts. Feel and detect when things are changing in your mood. Catch it before it gets too powerful, and study the patterns of these changes. Do you feel negative in a specific situation? Perhaps you start changing mood in a specific place or while talking to a specific person? The answers to these questions should give you clues of what the context of the contrasting thoughts is. You may have several, and they could be all tangled together. Explore and discover them all.

Dig into your past to understand how these thoughts were generated. Most of the hidden contrasting beliefs that each of us carry around were installed in your beliefs system before age 7. You may have to dig back in the past to find out what’s going on. Is there anything in your life that seems to activate two or more contrasting thoughts? Study your thoughts and identify anything that seems a possible issue. Write it down and put it aside. Go back on it later, and think about it again. If you identify any contrasting thoughts you are well on your way. The next step is to release them.

Stop the war!

When you discover an internal “war”, of two or more contrasting thoughts, examine them and pick what you want to keep and what you want to release. You need to make a clear conscious decision and align all of your actions and thoughts toward that decision. Do it smiling and be cheerful for you are on your way to health and happiness. It doesn’t matter if it feels like acting at the beginning, that’s normal. Eventually it becomes natural. Don’t give up.

To bring back the example I gave you earlier, John should either stop working long hours and get rid of the silly idea that working till late at night is the only way to be successful, or convince himself that he doesn’t need to sleep all that much after all. He should pick what makes more sense to him, and stick with that decision, internalizing its validity.

Interpret illness as a reflection of your thoughts.

See life as a lucid dream that you created. You created everything in this reality, so everything is a symbol and a reflection of you and your belief system.
For this reason, when illness appears, interpret it symbolically, as you would interpret a dream. In other words, imagine that you dreamt the illness, and interpret that dream. The answers you can get with this reality interpretation technique are very powerful.

In general, interpreting reality as a dream is an excellent way to learn about yourself and the reasons why you created your particular reality.

Stay physically active

Exercising and being physically active puts you in a more positive mental state. It releases stress outward, instead of inward; this often helps with the effects of contrasting beliefs simply limiting their destructive physical effects. Staying active is not a cure, but it helps while you are working on a more permanent solution, which could take some time.

Spirituality can boost your health


To stay healthy, you probably know that you need to eat right, get plenty of exercise and rest, and avoid bad habits such as smoking.
But, it might surprise you to learn that what you believe in can have a big impact on your health and longevity.
"There have been a lot of studies, and more are coming out all of the time, that show how patients with strong spirituality can improve their health from a variety of chronic conditions, like hypertension, heart disease, recovery from surgery and more," said Dr. Michael Torosian, a surgical oncologist at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, and co-author of the book, Spirit to Heal.
"Spirituality is where people find meaning in their life. It's something higher than themselves, though not necessarily attached to religion," said Patricia Megregian, a board-certified chaplain and executive director of the Integrative Medicine Initiative at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
Wherever your spirituality comes from, research indicates there are real health benefits:
  • People with high levels of religious beliefs or spirituality have lower cortisol responses. Cortisol is a hormone the body releases in response to stress.
  • Spirituality and the practice of religion have recently been associated with a slower progression of Alzheimer's disease.
  • Those who regularly attend organized religious activities may live longer than those who don't. Regular participation lowers mortality rate by about 12 percent a year.
  • People undergoing cardiac rehabilitation feel more confident and perceive greater improvements in their physical abilities if they have a strong faith.
  • Increased levels of spirituality and religious faith may help substance abusers kick their habit.
What's not known is exactly how spirituality or a positive outlook can cause these changes. According to Torosian, there are two popular theories. The first is known as the relaxation response. When the body is relaxed, your heart rate, blood pressure and breathing rate all go down, which decreases the body's stress response. The other theory is that spirituality can affect immune-system function.
"Spirituality, faith, church attendance improves immune function in ways that can be measured, like an increase in white blood cells," he said.
"When it comes to health, when the body feels safe and is at ease, the nervous system is able to quiet and be more normal. Then the immune system is able to function better," said Megregian. "When the body is safe and feels safe, all of its other functions can help combat disease."
Torosian added, "As a surgeon, I see cancer patients all the time trying to deal with a devastating diagnosis. Those with a strong faith seem to do much better and handle it better. Spirituality is something that can help all the way from promoting wellness to helping with recovery."

Now it is important to look at the difference between faith and religion. Faith is believing what God has put in your heart and taking the action steps and walking in that direction knowing that God is leading and directing you. It is a oneness with God, it is apart from a religious activity or service, or congregation. This is personal. So when we live a life of the heart, following what God has put in our hearts this is faith and this is the potential to reverse not only all physical, but all mental and emotional challenges as well. With faith, all things are possible. Faith is the opposite of fear. Faith is of the heart, fear is of the mind. Fear is an emotion that is produced when we are future thinking. So, the difference between that and religion, how religion improves health is just because religion is a comfort of being with other people of common beliefs. So, if I go to a religious service and with friends that believe the same as I do, there is a comfort in that, there is a comfort in the social aspects of it, which also can produce beneficial effects in health, but again, the thing that will transform a persons life the most, and reverse the most major diseases, and produce the highest level of total health of body, mind and spirit is not religion, but it is true faith. True faith, following what God has put in the heart, instead of what the world system has put into the head. And the basis of all the total health being established in the body is the
1. Air-- deep diaphragm breathing to oxygenate your body.
2. Water--drink 32 ounces of distilled water per 50/lbs per body weight per day.
3. Food--consume a diet of living/raw plant food which has the highest energy, bioelectricity, enzymes and bioavailable nutrient content to either maintain or restore your health.
4. Sleep--sleep 9.5 hours with 3.5 of them before midnight.
5. Exercise--exercise 30 minutes every day.
6. Fasting--fast from the normal Standard American Diet (SAD).
7. Prayer--take the time throughout your day to regularly still your mind so you can hear the voice of God spoken into your heart.

Roxarsone, an arsenic-based additive used in chicken feed, could pose health risks to humans.

Roxarsone is the most common arsenic-based additive used in chicken feed, used to promote growth, kill parasites and improve the color of chicken meat. It is normally benign, but under certain conditions that can occur within live chickens or on farm land, the compound converts into more toxic forms of inorganic arsenic.

Arsenic has been linked to bladder, lung, skin, kidney and colon cancers, and low-level exposure can lead to partial paralysis and diabetes.

A number of food suppliers have stopped using roxarsone, including Tyson Foods, which is the largest poultry producer in the United States. But even so, 70 percent of the 9 billion broiler chickens produced annually in the United States are fed roxarsone.

You were probably as surprised as I was to find out that nearly three-fourths of commercially raised chickens will be contaminated with arsenic because they were fed contaminated food.

Seems like it would be wise to avoid most conventionally raised chicken altogether now that you know about roxarsone. Neither the USDA or FDA have a clue as to how much arsenic you may be consuming in the chicken you eat.

In the only testing that has measured arsenic in chicken so far, nearly 75 percent of the raw meat sampled from conventional sources in Minnesota and California contain detectable levels of arsenic along with one-third of the samples taken from organic and "premium" sources.

Still, organic chicken -- preferably those raised on farms near you -- is the best choice for your health. Organic chickens are better fed, exposed to fewer pesticides and harmful chemicals, and get more sunlight, all of which makes them healthier for you.

This is one of the reasons you will want to consume organic foods whenever possible. Just makes no sense to load your body up with toxic substances that will clearly harm you in the long run.

Sex, and specifically the orgasm, is more that just something that feels good and allows procreation. There are many other functions, such as the release of dysfunctional energy within the body, which can help to keep one from becoming diseased. There is the function that opens the higher chakras, and under the right conditions allows a person to begin the process of enlightenment. And further, if two people, lovers, practice sacred sex, the entire experience can lead them together into higher consciousness and into worlds beyond this plane.

In relationships, a simple sexual principle, as taught by the ancient Egyptians, can change the energy level within your body and help to bring strength and vitality into your bodies and your relationship.

The full subject in detail of Egyptian Tantra is incredibly complex, and cannot be completed in an article of this scope. But we can speak of the heart of the matter — the human ankhing experience as practiced by the ancient Egyptians.

And so, adapted for our readers from The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life, Volume II, I offer this insight to assist two lovers — or even yourself, alone — to begin to find the higher path. This practice will not directly show you the true path. But it will increase your life-force energy, making you stronger, more alive, and more conscious. And perhaps — if you believe the Ancient Egyptians — it may lead you into eternal life.

Egyptian Sexual Energy and the Orgasm

It was believed in ancient Egypt that the orgasm was the key to eternal life, and that it was intimately connected with the chakra system. A chakra is an energy vortex connected to the entire human energy field, and the Universal Heart Chakra is the fifth of thirteen chakras. (There is also a system of eight chakras; in that system, the heart chakra is number four.) The Egyptian system held that the orgasm was intimately connected to this fifth, or Universal Heart Chakra.

First, we will explain the connection to eternal life.

Most people in the world are ignorant about what happens to their sexual energy after they have an orgasm. Usually, the energy moves up the spine and out the top of the head directly into the eighth or thirteenth chakra (same chakra, different system). In a few rare cases, the sexual energy is released down the spine into the hidden center below the feet, the point opposite the one above the head. In either case, the sexual energy — the concentrated life-force energy called prana in Hinduism — is dissipated and lost. It is similar to discharging a battery into a ground wire. It is no longer in the battery and so it is gone forever. This is what all the world's Tantric systems that I am aware of believe, that orgasm brings one a little closer to death because a person loses his or her life-force energy in the orgasm and is made weaker. But the Egyptians found long ago that it does not have to be this way.

It is for this reason that the Hindu and Tibetan Tantra systems ask the male to avoid ejaculating. Instead, they speak of these tiny invisible tubes where, when a student learns to control the orgasm and the flow of their sexual energy, the sperm migrates up to the higher centers.

Both of these systems, and also the Chinese Taoist Tantra system, are all primarily concerned with the sexual energy flow, sometimes referred to as ''sexual currents.'' They are primarily concerned with what happens as the sexual energy is moved before the orgasm, but they all have entirely different views of this energy compared to the Egyptians.

The Egyptians believed that orgasm is healthy and necessary, including the release of sperm in males, but that the sexual energy currents must be controlled in a deeply esoteric procedure that is unlike any other system. They believed that if this energy is controlled, the human orgasm becomes a source of infinite pranic energy that is not lost. They believe that the entire Mer-Ka-Ba or lightbody (the field of energy surrounding and interpenetrating the body) benefits from this sexual release. They even believe that under the right conditions the orgasm will directly lead to eternal life, and that the ankh is the key.

Egyptian ankhWhat is the ankh, and what has the ankh to do with sexual energy? It is complicated to explain, but we will simplify. First the ankh itself is a shape that looks like the figure at right.

In order to see and understand what took thousands of years for the Egyptians to grasp, we will begin with the fifth, Universal Heart Chakra. This lower heart chakra, the chakra of Unconditional Universal Love, is the first place where the energy completes itself. Each chakra has a ''direction'' associated with it, as the life-force energy rotates its way up the body in a pattern similar to the DNA molecule. In the lower heart chakra, the fifth place of a thirteen chakra system, the energy is facing the same direction as it began, and thus the circle is complete.

Energy Flow Diagrams

In the three views above, you can see how the rotation of energy either around the body, as in (a), around a circle, as in (b), or in a sine wave, as in (c), all complete themselves in five steps.

Ankh ViewsThe fifth or heart chakra is the first chakra that completes itself and has the energies of both front-to-back and left-to-right. If you could see these energies — and the Egyptians could — from above the head, as in (a), at left, they would appear as this symbol. It needs to be understood that these are actual energy lines around the body coming from the fifth chakra.

If you were to see these energies from the front view of a human, they would appear as in (b) at left. In the center of the cross there is a hidden energy line coming straight off the page and also moving in the opposite direction away from the reader.

Notice that both of the above examples are Christian symbols that come from the heart chakra. However, if you could see the same energies from the side of a human being, they would appear different than you would expect. There is another energy-flow ''tube'' there (in Chinese medicine it's called a ''meridian'') that the Egyptians discovered long ago. It looks like (c).

I find it very interesting that the Christians must have understood what we are talking about here, for on the robes of many Christian priests, at certain times of the year that are usually associated with resurrection, you will see the following symbol.

This symbol (d) shows all three views — the top, front, and side simultaneously. I believe the Christians omitted the complete loop of the ankh so that they would not directly show a connection with the old Egyptian religion, since they were breaking away from that tradition. But it is obvious that they knew.

Now that you know that this ankh energy conduit is located in the human energy field and where, you will be able to understand the reason for the Egyptians' sexual conduct, which we are about to explain.

First let me explain something about the ankh before I speak about its relationship to sexual energy. When I toured the museums in Egypt, I personally observed over 200 Egyptian rods.

Egyptian rodThese rods (pictured at right) were mostly made of wood, although other materials were sometimes used. They had a tuning fork on the bottom end, and the top end had four different types of devices that could be attached. One of these devices was in the shape of the ankh. What we found is that if you put the ankh on the top of the rod, which is like the human spine, the vibration from the tuning fork lasts a great deal longer. The energy seems to wrap around back into the rod along the curve of the ankh, moving downward as it returns, thereby sustaining the energy.

I was in Holland a couple of years ago, and there some people had made some rods out of copper with a high-quality tuning fork at the bottom and a threaded end at the top, so that different end pieces could be screwed on. I experimented with this rod. Using it without a top piece, I struck the tuning fork and timed how long it would vibrate. Then I screwed on the ankh and struck the tuning fork again. With the ankh on top, the rod vibrated almost three times longer. If you apply this idea to the human spine, you can see why the energy of the orgasm enhances the entire human system and the energy wraps itself back around and back into the human meridians.

This is the key to why the Egyptians performed the particular sexual practices we are about to explain. They found that if they had an orgasm and let it go out the top or bottom of the spine, the sexual energy was lost. But if the sexual energy was guided by consciousness to move into the ankh conduit, it would come back into the spine and continue to resonate and vibrate. The life-force energy was not lost. In actual experience, it seems to increase the energy. One does not feel depleted after sex, but rather recharged.

You can talk about it all day, but if you try it one time, you will understand. However, it is not easy to do in one test. For the first few times, the sexual energy will often shoot past the point of the fifth chakra and continue on up and out of the body. So it takes practice. Once it is learned, I doubt seriously if you would ever have an orgasm any other way. It's too powerful and feels too good. Once your body remembers this experience, it is not likely to revert back to the old way.

Instructions for the Egyptian Orgasm

Here is exactly how to achiever the ankhing associated with the human orgasm. Whatever you do sexually before the orgasm is completely up to you. I am not here to judge you — and definitely the Egyptians would not, since they believe in knowing all sixty-four sexual modes before you enter the King's Chamber to ascend to the next level of consciousness. This is their idea, but it is important to know that it is not necessary. You can reach the next level of consciousness without knowing this information. However, from their point of view, the idea of ankhing is of paramount importance in achieving eternal life. You will have to decide for yourself if it is something you wish to practice.

  1. The moment you feel the sexual energy about to rise up your spine, take a very deep breath, filling your lungs about 9/10th full, then hold your breath.
  2. Allow the sexual energy of the orgasm to come up your spine. But at the moment it reaches the fifth chakra (located just a couple of finger-widths above the sternum), with your willpower you must turn the flow of sexual energy 90 degrees out the back of the body. It will then automatically continue inside the ankh tube. It will slowly turn until it passes exactly through the eighth (or thirteenth) chakra, one hand-length above the head at 90 degrees to the vertical. It will then continue to curve around until it returns to the fifth chakra, where it began, only this time in the front of the body.

    Even if you don't understand what was just said, it will happen automatically if you get it started out the back of the body at the fifth chakra, and it will automatically come back around to the front of the body and reconnect at the fifth chakra. You just have to make it turn 90 degrees so that it begins.
  3. It will often slow down as it approaches its point of origin, the fifth chakra. If you can see the energy, it comes to a sharp point. When it approaches the fifth chakra from the front of the body, there is sometimes a tremendous jolt as it reconnects with this chakra again. All this takes place while you are holding your first breath.
  4. The instant the sexual energy reconnects with its source, the fifth chakra, take in the full breath. You had filled your lungs only 9/10th full, so now you fill your lungs as completely as you can.
  5. Now exhale very, very slowly. The sexual energy will continue on around the ankh channel as long as you are exhaling. When you reach the bottom of this breath, you will continue to breathe very deeply, but a change happens here.
  6. It is here that, if you know the Lightbody work of the Mer-Ka-Ba, you would begin to breathe from the two poles using Mer-Ka-Ba breathing. But if you are like most people and don't know this work, then continue to breathe deeply until you feel the relaxation begin to spread throughout your body. Then relax your breath to your normal rate. Feel every cell becoming rejuvenated by this life-force energy. Let this energy reach down into the deepest physical levels of your body structure even past the cellular level. Feel how this beautiful energy surrounds your very being and brings health to your body, mind and heart.
  7. Once the relaxation begins, slow your breath down to a normal shallow breathing.
  8. If possible, allow yourself to completely relax or even sleep for a while afterward.
If you practice this for even one week, I believe you will more than understand. If you practice it continually, it will begin to give health and strength to your mental, emotional, and physical bodies. It will give great strength and power to your Lightbody, as well.

If for any reason this practice does not feel right, stop and return to normal. It just is not time.

It was this discovery of the secret tube that fostered the Ancient Egyptians' belief that eternal life was intimately connected to this particular energy-flow. It is this ankhing of their sexual energy through this tube, in an extremely deliberate procedure, that I have been taught to emulate.

Several large population studies, have shown a clear link between a woman's exposure to light at night and breast cancer. A similar link has been shown with prostate cancer in men. The risk is greatly increased for:
1. Those who frequently do not go to sleep until after 1:30 a.m.
2. Those who have the brightest bedrooms.
3. Late-night shift workers (and the longer they work nights, the greater the risk).
The study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute concludes that this is the result of a chronic suppression of melatonin - an anti-cancer hormone that is produced by the body only in the dark.

Research published by the National Cancer Institute conclude that when people do not get enough sleep, or they are exposed to light when they sleep, it results in a chronic suppression of melatonin, an anti cancer hormone that is produced by the body only in dark. What they found was the risk is greatest for those who don't go to sleep until very late, especially after 1:30 a.m. in the morning, those who have any light in their bedrooms, and late night shift workers, the longer they work nights, the greater the risks. So the important thing is, how do we counter act this? We counter act this by number one following the sleep guidelines. Sleep studies have shown the number of hours of sleep ideal for health and healing in a human being is 9.5 hours, with at least 3.5 before midnight. What does that mean? It means you are in bed by between 8:00 and 9:00 and you wake up at 6:00. Now for many you will say this is unrealistic, so what I say to you is get to bed as early as you can and wake up as early as you can and start making changes even if it just thirty minutes or fifteen minutes earlier each night or when you can. The other thing is critical make sure your bedroom is dark. Do not have any lights on, any night lights, any lights at all that are perceivable and also if light comes in from the outside from the streetlights, purchase shades that have light blocking, which means they do not permit any light to come through the shade. Another important thing to affect health and healing are the7 Basic Steps to Total Health(TM):
1. Air--deep diaphragm breathing to oxygenate your body.
2. Water--drink 32 ounces of distilled water per 50/lbs per body weight per day.
3. Food--consume a diet of living/raw plant food which has the highest energy, bioelectricity, enzymes and bioavailable nutrient content to either maintain or restore your health.
4. Sleep--sleep 9.5 hours with 3.5 of them before midnight.

Now, if a person was on a night shift and they could not switch their job, they can still balance their health at a higher level if they do the other 6 of the 7 Basic Steps. The average American breaks most all of them, so in all these studies, we are taking typical Americans that are breaking all the steps. If you can live 6 of those 7 steps at a high level, the body will absorb that 7 steps not being ideal, so that recommendation is when you cannot sleep 9.5 hours or when you have to work a late night shift, make sure you are living the other 6 of the 7 Basic Steps to Total Health at the highest level you possibly can.

Pesticides and Parkinson's Desease

Pesticides Could Raise Parkinson's Risk

Exposure to pesticides, may boost the long-term risk for developing Parkinson's disease by 70 percent, a new study suggests.
These findings do back up earlier animal studies linking pesticide exposure to motor function abnormalities and lower levels of the brain neurotransmitter dopamine. Declines in dopamine have long been associated with Parkinson's.
"This is the first large human study that shows that exposure to pesticide is associated with a higher incidence of Parkinson's," said study lead author Dr. Alberto Ascherio, associate professor of nutrition and epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston.
The researchers studied 413 participants who were diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
Exposed patients were twice as likely to be blue-collar workers and 14 times more likely to work as either a farmer, rancher, or fisherman.
However, the same risk of disease was found between patients who experienced exposure because of their work, such as farmers, and those who came into contact with the chemicals because of home or garden use.
The Harvard team found that, regardless of occupation, pesticide exposure boosted long-term Parkinson's risk by 70 percent over the long-term.

This study which was published in the Annals of Neurology was the first to show that exposure to pesticides may increase long term risk for developing Parkinson's Disease by 70%, and was the first large human study that showed exposure to pesticides is associated with higher incidences of Parkinson's according to lead author, Dr. Ascherio, Associate Professor of Nutrition and Epidemiology at Harvard School of Public Health in Boston. Another interesting note in the study was exposure was 14 times more likely to be found in workers that either were farmers, ranchers or fishermen. But they stated, however, no differences were found in terms of risk increased between patients who been experienced exposure because of their work, again being farmers, or those who came in contact with chemicals because of home or garden use. That's the key, the home and garden pesticides that we are putting on our lawns and in our gardens, are weakening our immune systems and increasing the risk of all types of diseases and weakening of the immune systems in this study confirming Parkinson's Disease, but also knowing that these chemicals will increase our susceptibility to all disease, including immune suppressive diseases like cancer. What's the answer? Very simply, go natural. You can find by planting certain herbs in your garden they repel insects. According to this fascinating video segment aired recently on Nova, only one in 10,000 of us will live to see 100. But scientists are working on finding ways to increase that number.

Researchers found cutting the food intake of just about any organism by up to 30-40 percent extended its life by as much as 60 percent.

Calorie restriction reduces insulin levels and triggers the production of sirtuins, which are produced as part of an intricate stress response that kicks an organism into survival mode (which beefs up DNA repair and prevents cells from dying).

More Evidence Vitamin D Prevents Parkinson's Disease and Cancer


In an excellent paper, a pair of researchers (father and son) presented considerable evidence that vitamin D deficiency is a cause, and possibly the major cause, of Parkinson's disease.

The researchers reviewed a 1997 case report in which a patient with Parkinson's disease steadily improved when treated daily with 4,000 IU of vitamin D.

At the same time, two new meta-analysis studies (which combine data from multiple reports) have found even more evidence that vitamin D is an important cancer-fighting tool. The first study examined nearly 1,800 records and found that:

  • People with the highest blood levels of vitamin D had the lowest risk of breast cancer
  • Those with the lowest vitamin D levels had the highest rates of breast cancer
The second study, which looked at nearly 1,500 people, showed similar results. Raising vitamin D levels (serum level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D) to 34 ng/ml reduced rates of colorectal cancer by half, while raising levels to 46ng/ml cut the risk by two-thirds.

Reduction of Alzheimer's Symptoms

Eating less reduces Alzheimer's symptoms in mice

Eating fewer calories may help prevent the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease, researchers reported.

A study in mice suggests a lower-calorie diet can help trigger the production of a protein that protects the brain from the disease, said researchers at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.
In the study, the mice in one group were permitted to eat as they wanted, while the other group of mice was fed only 70 percent of that amount.
When the animals were killed six months later, researchers discovered the brains of the calorie-restricted mice held significantly higher levels of an anti-aging protein, SIRT1, the researchers reported in the Journal of Biological Chemistry.
That protein has been shown to curtail and reverse the production of plaque in the brain, a typical symptom of Alzheimer's disease. Researchers have found the protein can also enhance the function of a patient's metabolism, kidneys and liver.
"The real message is that, in an animal model of Alzheimer's disease, caloric restriction led to the elevation of molecules that are associated with longevity and good health," said Dr. Giulio Pasinetti, a professor of psychiatry and neuroscience who led the study.
"This may be the reason why caloric restriction may work to prevent Alzheimer's disease."
The Mount Sinai study confirms other research that has found a relationship between what and how much people eat and risk for the disease in general.
"The same things that we know are good for your body -- particularly your vascular system -- are all part of maintaining healthy brain function," said Dr. Bill Thies, a staff pharmacologist at the Alzheimer's Association.

In this study, that was published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry, it showed that when mice were permitted to eat as much as they wanted, as opposed to the other group which was fed only 70% of that amount, that the animals on the calorie restricted diet had a significantly higher levels of anti aging protein called SRIT1. This protein had been shown to reverse the production of plague in the brain, which is typical in the symptoms of Alzheimer Disease. Excess pounds may raise ovarian cancer risk

Being overweight in young adulthood or later in life may raise a woman's risk of ovarian cancer, particularly if she's never had children, researchers have found.

In a study of 2,110 women with and without ovarian cancer, researchers found that those who were relatively heavy, either in recent years or at the age of 18, were more likely than thinner women to develop the disease.
But the relationship between weight and ovarian cancer was strongest among women who'd never given birth. For them, cancer risk climbed in tandem with recent body mass index (BMI), a measure of weight in relation to height.
Among childless women, those who were obese in recent years had 2.5 times the risk of ovarian cancer compared with the thinnest women. The same pattern emerged when the researchers looked at the women's weight gain since age 18, according to Dr. Julia Greer and her colleagues at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
The new findings suggest that in overweight women who've had no children, the effects of excess body fat and "incessant" ovulation combine to raise the risk of ovarian cancer, according to the study authors.
The findings offer yet another reason to maintain a healthy weight throughout life. And that goes for all women, whether they've had children or not, according to Dr. Greer.
According to American Cancer Society estimates, Greer noted, at least one third of all cancer deaths in the U.S. each year are attributable to excess weight and obesity.

This study can be summarized very simply that women that were obese had 2½ times greater risk of ovarian cancer compared to the thinnest women. These findings were stated in the Journal, Cancer. The research in the Journal, Cancer also stated that according to the American Cancer Society, estimates that at least 1/3 of all cancer deaths in the United States each year are attributable to excess of weight and obesity. This is very important. SO how do we counter act this? You don't counter act disease by focusing on disease. You do not counter act weight gain or obesity by focusing on your weight, the way you counter act all of the is by looking at the opposite. Instead of trying to get rid of the weight or the disease, the focus is 100% on getting health in body, mind and spirit. The more balanced the body is, the mind and emotions, the more the body is going to go into a natural weight for the body. And how do we do this? With the7 Basic Steps to Total Health(TM) which are:
