 SACRIFICE OF DESIRES

Think about it, if the satisfaction of your desires were really what it seems, the absolute priority of your soul, it is true that you would spare no effort and dedicate all your effort and resources in this sense, but in the practice of our civilization this rarely happens, because despite burning internally for the desires that we desire, and that we long to see fulfilled, still, in the name of supposedly combating selfishness, we sacrifice our desires and replace them with duties, rarely having the two converge.

We greatly value the satisfaction of our desires, but we are also dedicated to maintaining the “health of normality” in our personal and work relationships, and that is why we make concessions and sacrifice desires, but to be honest with our souls, it is essential to recognize that we act this way silently protesting, disagreeing with how we got ourselves into this mess of living ardent desires to satisfy, but sacrificing them in the name of preserving the social contract that governs the civilized “health of normality”.

And so we consolidate a perpetual state of discord and conflict with our own soul, trying to achive a balance between duties and desires and it is thanks, or better said “misfortunes” to this discord with our own soul, that we end up transferring this state of things to our relationships, living in a useless state of constant discord, when we should help each other in this self-created chaos, to free ourselves from this ancestral weight that has nothing more to teach our humanity.

If your soul imagines it was born for great things, then it is up to you to act with greatness, avoiding falling into the temptation of pettiness, which is the currency of almost all civilized human relationships. Snap out of it.
