 TRUE LIES

Ah, the romance!

Under the light of this Moon that gives us its silvery splendor, the same Moon under which Adam and Eve, Cleopatra and Mark Antony dated, and which also illuminated the Trojan War, for the love of Helen; the same Moon that served as an inspiration so that, through countless generations, notable and ordinary people made promises of eternal love, consecration and fidelity, it is also the Moon that witnesses promises being betrayed, transformed into lies that, by the passionate ardor of the moment, they emerged as absolute truths, encouraging us to give our lives to someone we want so much that we can't imagine being able to live without that person, an absolute truth that, once the ardor has been extinguished, passes from the heights of glory to the bland taste of routine.

These are the ardent truths that lovers utter with their souls totally convinced of eternity, but which later turn out to be temporary.

True lies.

And under the light of the same Moon as always, our humanity continues to bet on true lies, because romance is passionate, and passions are the perfect moments that we have available to experience.

Yes! The passions, all of them, the elevated and the abject too, are perfect moments, full experiences, alignments of mind, heart and body so that, even when uttering the promises of eternal love that we are aware we will not fulfill, we still continue to believe in your true lies.

There are conflicts that return to center stage again and again, but that remain unresolved, because there is no way to resolve anything without all the people involved participating and having the willingness to understand each other.
