DIAGNOSING IS NOT REVEALING
If we developed the ability to see through appearances, marketing and advertising would cease to exist, because when the intellect goes beyond appearance there is no way to highlight the qualities of a product while hiding its side effects and defects so that, taken by enchantment, that appearances produce for us and also due to the relief of not having to think to judge with discernment and impartiality, our humanity launches itself into acquiring products in a cloud of innocence that has nothing innocent about it.
Seeing through appearances has a right name, diagnosis, this is the Greek word that describes the act of knowing what is hidden behind forms and formalities, but as we live in a time of widespread trivialization of knowledge, it is now customary to diagnose everything, which is not necessarily a real diagnosis, but the act of making revelations, without paying attention to the fact that the exercise of revealing means exchanging one veil for another.
Diagnosing is not revealing, but UNvealing the truth, but who dares to see the truth?
Revealing conspiracies and highlighting symptoms as blunt proof of individual and social pathologies do not necessarily constitute diagnoses, but REvelations, which, as the word itself means, exchange one veil for another, leaving our humanity with the feeling of having become enlightened, when In fact, everything remains the same.
